Musicians
The Baroque Orchestra of New
Jersey draws its musicians from throughout northern and
central New Jersey. Ranging from top professionals to students, the
orchestra blends talents, energy and enthusiasm to create a memorable orchestral
experience. Bassoonist Andrew Pecota serves as orchestra manager.
Many professional musicians perform either as regular players or as guest
soloists and the orchestra remains open to musicians of all levels willing to
make rehearsals and interested in exploring the music of the period. The
orchestra also encourages talented young musicians to participate, placing them
beside professionals, enabling them to share the rehearsal and concert
